Turochas “T” Fuad, Founder, Spacemob
Turochas “T” Fuad likes building companies and he’s finally getting quite good at it. Two of his previous startups were acquired and he’s recently launched his 3rd – Spacemob.
T’s first startup was WUF Networks, Inc., an Internet of things software company based out of the Silicon Valley. The company was acquired by Yahoo!, Inc in 2005. Most recently, T was the CEO and Founder of travelmob – an online marketplace for private accommodations and vacation rentals. Headquartered in Singapore, travelmob was acquired by HomeAway, Inc. (Nasdaq: AWAY) in mid 2013.
In between the two startups, T was the Managing Director for Skype AsiaPac, responsible for its business expansion across Japan, China, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, India and Southeast Asia. Prior to Skype, T was responsible for all business aspects of Yahoo!’s Mobile division across the Southeast Asia market.
T’s background has spanned across various industries, which include enterprise software, e-commerce, mobile, travel and consumer internet services. Born in Indonesia, T currently resides in Singapore, plotting out his next adventure.
