Gabriyel Wong, Product Director, Expedia Asia

Gabriyel Wong is a Singapore-based Product Director, supporting AAE Travel, a joint venture between the Expedia group and AirAsia encompassing Brand Expedia and AirAsiaGo brands in Asia. As such, he is responsible for product development across more that fifteen travel booking sites in the region and leading a product team charged with creating relevant and competitive products for Asia-based travellers on Expedia group sites.

Gabriyel joined Expedia in 2015. Previously he held a variety of technology management and product development roles in Asia Pacific, spanning media investment, pre-acquisition product and technology audits, as well as online travel and ecommerce innovation.

He has a PhD (in Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore and is currently studying for his MBA from University of Illinois, UrbanaChampaign.
