Cynthia is Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Business Support, President’s Office at Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts, the largest upper-upscale & luxury hotel company in the region, managing ten distinctive and compelling brands, including St. Regis®, The Luxury Collection®, W Hotels®, Westin®, Sheraton®, Four Points® by Sheraton, Le Méridien®, Aloft®, Element and Tribute PortfolioTM. In her position, Cynthia plays a strategic role supporting the President of Asia Pacific, where she is involved in Senior Leadership discussions and assists the President in driving and following up on divisional initiatives by providing insights supported by strong analytical support. She works closely with Asia Pacific President & CFO in the formation of Starwood Asia Pacific’s 5-year plan and strategies and is also responsible for preparing all presentations, speeches & working documents on behalf of the President for any internal & external events and presentations. As part of the Marriott-Starwood merger, Cynthia is also a member of the Integration Management Office (IMO) and was involved in various functional integration meetings. Prior to this role, she was Analyst, Business Planning & Analytics, Finance and supported the Starwood Asia Pacific Division CFO in preparing strategy plans, budget analysis and presentations for the Senior Leadership Team.
Cynthia graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU) with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Economics & Marketing. In her personal time, Cynthia takes a keen interest in traveling, food, Tennis & Ultimate Frisbee.
